I've never really kept a journal before but I suppose there's a first time for everything.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rose and I've been here over a week now. I'll admit, it was a lot to take in at first, but I think I may be settling in.

Honey, Chicago's not the safest place on the planet. In the future, when leaving open journal entries make sure to lock against the CLF, Barnams, and people who are wanderer-friendly.

The journals automatically give out your name, and I don't know exactly what resources the CLF (basically a Chicago terrorist group against Wanderers) have in tracking people down, but a name's a good lead, and you're pretty much announcing yourself as a Wanderer this way.

I'm sure you've probably been warned about this already, but it's dangerous to leave entries public. You can lock them to certain people, or lock them from certain people. In this case, the CLF.

They blame us for a lot that goes on around here. They kill people for it. I've seen it. It's not safe.
